How We Do Food
Several years ago we became aware that many of the things we were eating were not the healthiest of choices. We felt tired, lazy and plain crumby. After researching the benefits of gluten-free, organic, non-gmo and largely dairy free eating, we decided to make a change to our food lifestyle.
It was not an easy transition. Finding what we should and should not eat was a challenge. Much of the time we settled for bland and boring meals that we made over and over.
Quickly, it became apparent that if we were to make this a permanent change for our family, and actually have our children enjoy eating, we needed to get creative.
We spent countless hours finding recipes and cooking in the kitchen. There have been many hits and a few flops along the way. Eating healthy, fresh and well prepared meals has changed how we feel, act, and live. Now we want to share our food with you to help start you on your wellness journey to a better, healthier, happier you.
Meals we make for you in advance. Portioned into the appropriate serving sizes. All you do is pick-up, re-heat and enjoy.
On our menu page you can order the desired meals and select the number of servings and pick-up date. It’s that simple. A few clicks gets you a few meals.
Each delicious meal is made with only the best ingredients that are allergy friendly and always gluten, soy and dairy free. Meals available for the week are the same as the group meal prep menu.
All meals are pick-up at the Walker Area Community Center (WACC) in the Rotary Kitchen on the desired date of Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
Thursday 3-4:30pm, Friday 9am-12pm and 3pm-4;30, Saturday 11am-1pm
Group Meal Prep
3 or 4 Saturday mornings a month Cooking starts at 9am, but please try to arrive 15mins early Come cook for a few hours and leave with a week’s worth of food!
Anyone, as long as they are willing to help out and have a good time. You don’t need to be great at cooking, we provide instruction and delegate tasks to make for an efficient event.
The group meal preps include minimum of 14 meals at $112.
